Expansion Geeks respects copyright. This page explains how to report alleged copyright infringement on https://expansiongeeks.com under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This is plain language and not legal advice.
1. Designated DMCA agent
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to:
REPUBLIC REGISTERED AGENT LLC
262 Chapman Rd, Ste 240
Newark, DE 19702
Email: expansiongeeksmgmt@gmail.com
Subject lines: DMCA Notice / DMCA Counter-Notice
2. How to file a DMCA takedown notice
If you believe content on our Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed (or a representative list if multiple works).
- Identification of the material on our Site that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it (URL preferred).
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name can count as an electronic signature).
Incomplete notices may delay action.
3. What we do after a valid notice
If we receive a notice that substantially complies with the DMCA, we may:
- remove or disable access to the material,
- notify the user who posted it (if applicable),
- document the request.
We may restore material if we receive a valid counter-notice and the complainant does not seek a court order in time, as the DMCA allows.
4. Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice including:
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or any district where Expansion Geeks may be found if you are outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
5. Repeat infringement
We may terminate or block users who repeatedly infringe copyrights when appropriate.
6. Misrepresentations
Submitting a false DMCA notice or counter-notice can create legal liability. Only file if you are authorized and the claim is accurate.
